About the event

Our goal is to offer more opportunities for exposure and help students gain a deeper understanding of the possibilities that healthcare careers can offer. We hope this Discovery Summit event inspires Tennessee students to pursue healthcare paths, with a clear understanding of the diverse options available. Additionally, we aim to spark curiosity and encourage students to seek out future opportunities and events that will guide them in making informed decisions about their education and careers.​

The Discovery Summit will feature:


Career Hall​

Connect with professionals from over 16 healthcare career groups including Nursing, Medicine, Rehabilitation, Dentistry, Healthcare Administration, Radiology, and many more!​


Community Hall​

Meet with representatives from Middle Tennessee colleges, universities, technical schools, and hospitals to learn about educational programs, internships, camps, scholarships, tuition reimbursement, and current job openings.​


Belmont Simulations Tour​

Attendees can explore the cutting-edge simulation labs at Belmont University's Frist College of Medicine, where students from fields like medicine, nursing, and therapy gain hands-on experience to prepare for their careers.​


Breakout Sessions​

Attend a variety of breakout sessions covering topics such as stackable credentials and hear from both emerging and established healthcare professionals about navigating the path to a successful career in healthcare.​


"Peer Chat" with Students

Emerging professionals currently enrolled in a post-secondary program can engage with high school students to share insights, experiences, and the unique journey that have brought them from high school to where they are today.


Swag Giveaways​

Participate in drawings every 30 minutes for swag baskets filled with exciting gear and gift cards, courtesy of our education and hospital partners!​

Getting to the EVent

Thomas F. Frist, Jr. College of Medicine, 1314 Acklen Ave., Nashville, TN 37212 

  • Parking for the event is available in the parking garage P12 below the building at 1314 Acklen Ave. 
  • Please park on level P2, P3, or P4. Entrance to the building is not available via P1. 
  • Once parked, please proceed to the elevators and up to the 2nd-floor lobby. A member of our staff will be there to greet you. 


Please see this parking/campus map PDF. The best entrance to the campus is 12th Avenue South and Acklen Avenue (indicated by red dot on the map). The Discovery Summit will take place at the College of Medicine, indicated on the map as building number 9.
